LONDON, April 21 — Nottingham Forest revived their Champions League hopes with a 2-1 win over struggling Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, halting a two-game losing streak and piling more pressure on Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou.
KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 — The Skills Johor campus in Kota Tinggi is nearing completion, with construction progress at 98.5 per cent, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced.
In a statement following his site visit, Onn Hafiz described the project as a significant step forward in building a future-ready technical and vocational education ecosystem in Johor.
“Developed at a total cost of RM107 million and capable of accommodating up to 6,000 students, the campus was built without any financial contribution from the Johor state government, thanks to a strategic public-private partnership model,” he said.
Despite setbacks caused by the pandemic, the project has now reached its final stages, he added.
Once operational, the Skills Johor campus will be managed under the Johor Talent Development Council (JTDC), which is responsible for aligning human capital strategies with the evolving needs of industries.
Onn Hafiz also noted that JTDC is actively forging stronger partnerships with investors and industry stakeholders, particularly those within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
“I believe this initiative will not only strengthen Johor’s appeal as a prime investment hub but also provide inclusive opportunities for social mobility through focused skills training, industrial exposure, and talent development,” he said.
